  Our client, a large healthcare company, has a need for a Financial Analyst. If you are proficient in excel to include macros to prepare monthly financial reports, Flash fill, advanced filter and able to analyze data to inform decisions to optimize the department's financial resources, then you are the right fir for the role!

  Responsibilities
  
  
  • Perform accounting, reporting and financial analysis as assigned for the enterprise. This role is responsible for complex and multifunctional areas of accounting, maintaining proper accounting and financial control through reconciliations and analytical analysis related to assigned functional areas.
  • Actively participate and ensure timely and accurate financial statement reporting for Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP), tax and other regulatory reporting.
  • Conduct independent accounting-based research and complex analytical projects.
  • Supports internal and external audits of client's Foundation Health Plan of Washington and its subsidiaries
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with operational departments and external vendors.
  • May supervise accounting staff.
  • Supports the budget process. If assigned to work on federal contracts, this role may be required to undergo and pass a security background clearance per federal government regulations
