  As Senior Financial Analyst at Lounge by Zalando, you play a key role in creating transparency on underlying drivers of our financials. You build connections across various departments and ensure effective collaboration. You will be a crucial contributor to Zalando’s mission to support data-driven decision-making and lead and transform existing financial processes via automation, simplification, centralization and standardization, to better address business needs and have a major impact on the future of Lounge by Zalando.

  WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • You will be part of the Business Finance Organization and primarily focus on the Lounge business, having a large exposure into the analytics community, both at Lounge and in Central Functions
  • You enable Finance and stakeholder teams to generate insights from the data and use it for steering and decision making
  • You develop and improve the analytics and reporting environment
  • You build dashboards and data sources using SQL and Tableau to allow self service reporting of certain KPIs
  • You are responsible for top level reporting and respective KPIs, as well as providing single source of truth for some of the finance data domains
  • You act as Data champion for Lounge finance function in all data related topics
  • You identify data requirements of the business and translate into functional requirements for data engineers
  • You embrace new technologies and advocate advanced forecasting methods

  WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • A degree in business, economics, computer science, data analytics or similar areas
  • Proven track record of 5+ years experience in business intelligence or business analytics in a fast growing environment
  • Good understanding of data warehousing and analytical methods (e.g. databases and data structures, descriptive and diagnostic data analysis)
  • Good knowledge of SQL, data modeling
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau (extracts, dashboards) for more than 1 year
  • Excellent root cause analysis and data related problem-solving skills are your strengths
  • You are a driver for change and enthusiastic about data, people and processes
  • Good project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced English skills round off your profile
  • Experience with Python, Excel and Google Sheets is an advantage
