      About This Role

      Seeking a dynamic environment in which you’ll be continually learning, taking on new challenges and communicating with management and operational teams around the world? You’ll be working for a world-class public company that is a leader in training in the fields of civil aviation, defence and security and healthcare.

      We are looking for someone based in our headquarters in Montreal who will act as a Finance Business Partner to support management of various needs including:

      • Prepare analysis and reports for management to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
      • Participate in the budget process on a monthly basis, produce variance analysis, financial forecasts, as well as analysis for any potential risks and opportunities for each department
      • Present the budget, gap analysis and forecasts to the management
      • Prepare journal entries and provide accurate analyses when requested
      • Provide financial support to various stakeholders within the company

      Qualifications:

      • Accounting title or applicant to the profession, an asset
      • 5 to 8 years experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing / operational environment
      • Experience in budgeting, gap analysis, monthly forecasting
      • Excellent analytical, technical, and organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
      • Ability to effectively communicate with upper management and colleagues across the company.
      • Ability to work under minimal supervision while respecting deadlines.
      • Responsible for preparing journal entries and providing accurate analysis as requested.
      • Provide financial support to different departments of the company
      • Good communication skills at all hierarchical levels.
      • Excellent knowledge of Excel and macros, and financial models
      • Customer-oriented
      • Bilingual
