      Please Note: This role requires the ability to work on site in our Midtown Manhattan Headquarters 3 days per week per company policy .

      The annual salary range for this role is $130,000-150,000 in New York.

      Why we are recruiting

      As part of the global controlling team, the Financial Analyst will be mainly focusing work on financial analysis and controls, including both the introduction of new financial tools and systems as well as increased efficacy of existing tools and systems. This position will also support the organization in the form of financial reports and presentations, providing simplified and digestible analysis, a clear narrative and recommended actions for related business optimization and strategy. This position will also support the organization through the completion of critical projects, such as ESG reporting.

      Reporting Lines & Interactions

      Internally, this person will interact with the finance team as well as top to bottom across every department of the organization and across all geographies.

      Externally, this person may have to interact with vendors and partners of the Forum at times.

      Responsibilities

      • Monitor financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
      • Prepare various management reports and provide relevant analysis, identify trends and recommend actions for optimization
      • Provide strategic recommendations/analysis to management based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis
      • Provide clear communication of status against financial and development goals to management
      • Report on financial performance and preparation of presentations for regular leadership reviews
      • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and dashboards via PowerBI and Tableau, for the purposes of informing strategic decision-making
      • Engage other members of the senior management team to facilitate cross-department collaboration, including the NY accounting team, Geneva finance teams and business teams across the institution, as well as participation in cross-functional business projects, such as ESG reporting

      The successful candidate will be assessed on

      • Simple and clear presentation of financial data with internal stakeholders that includes an actionable narrative
      • Implementation of new financial processes/tools and streamlining of existing processes and tools within the Forum ecosystem
      • Consistently accurate and reliable production of financial reports

      Preferred Requirements and Experience

      • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related degree
      • 5+ years of business finance or other relevant work experience
      • High proficiency with financial modeling and techniques as well as data management
      • Proficiency of Microsoft Excel; high proficiency of PowerBI and Tableau or related tools; SQL proficiency a plus
      • Strong analytical and data-gathering skills translated into ability to generate digestible and actionable dashboards for target audience
      • Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills
      • Proven work experience in a quantitative-heavy financial data role
      • Self-starter and quick learner with excellent interpersonal communication skills, written and oral, and ability to interface across all levels of an organization
      • Excels in a fast-paced environment and embraces change with ease
      • Experience with Salesforce would be a plus
      • Experience with Adaptive Planning Module from Workday would be a plus

      Vaccination requirement
