Job Description

- Performance measurement and variance analysis; including Cost Account Plans
- Communicate with Cost Account Managers and department Directors
- Create and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Estimate at Complete development
- Budget development and maintenance
- Preparation of cost reports to support both internal and external customers
- Input to Finance systems for Indicated Profit, Sales Orders and Backlog
- Manpower Plan and Operating Plan development
- Shop order control
- Monitoring subcontractor contracts including requisition review and approval
- Preparation of billing instructions for submittal to Cash Management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Prior Electric Boat internship in Finance
- Prior EB experience in EB Finance or Program Office
- Experience in Government contract cost control
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Experience reporting and analyzing data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
- Able to meet critical deadlines
- Strong communication skills and experience working collaboratively with others
- Be interested in and capable of analyzing data with minimal supervision
- Possess a considerable amount of initiative and organizational skills
- Knowledge of EB Systems (WAF/DLB, Accounting, Planning, Mainframe MRP, Purchasing and Inventory, Oracle) is a plus
Overview
The Program Finance Analyst (Financial Analyst) performs Financial Management and Program Control functions associated with the COLUMBIA Construction contract managed by the Program Finance Department, 626. The Program Finance team serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight and guidance to enable strategic program decisions and achieving bottom-line results.
