      Job Summary:
      The Financial Analyst will support credit risk evaluation and portfolio analysis of commercial accounts for a major energy utility. This role assesses creditworthiness, develops risk segmentation strategies, and partners across teams to streamline policies and processes using data-driven insights and tools like Power BI and Excel.
      Key Responsibilities:
      • Conduct credit risk assessments of commercial accounts to ensure adequate securitization and minimize bad debt exposure.
      • Evaluate both internal and external financial data to develop predictive models and customer screening protocols.
      • Analyze portfolio and customer performance trends by segment and vintage.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve Credit policies through automation and process redesign.
      • Support Commercial Deposit & Fraud Unit, Bankruptcy Supervisors, and AR teams to meet operational goals.
      • Segment and identify risk behaviors in customer groups using advanced analytics tools.
      • Use Power BI, Excel, and AO to generate credit evaluation and risk insights.
      Required Experience:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Minimum 2 years of finance-related experience (e.g., Credit Risk, Loan Officer, Financial Management).
      • At least 1 year of experience in Credit Risk or Root Cause Analysis and Financial Statement interpretation.
      Nice-to-Have Experience:
      • Energy or utility industry background
      • Credit risk modeling experience
      • Familiarity with commercial fraud risk
