What You Will Do Under minimum supervision, you will prepare, reconcile, and analyze financial information, develop new processes and procedures, and provide management with accurate data for decision-making. This role requires expertise in accounting/financial practices, a deep understanding of retail banking operations, and the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements effectively. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual will depend on their geographic location, relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors. Expected Minimum Pay Rate USD $60,400.00/Yr. Expected Maximum Pay Rate USD $78,555.00/Yr. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions Account Reconciliations and Analyses Perform account reconciliations and provide in-depth financial analyses to support retail banking functions. Process Improvement Design, recommend, and implement ongoing improvements in accounting processes specific to retail banking. Special Projects Take the lead on ad hoc analyses and special projects, addressing unique challenges within the retail banking space. Problem Solving Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in accounting or financial processes related to branch operations. Variance Analysis Analyze financial reports, research variances, and identify trends impacting branch performance. Budget Assistance Develop spreadsheets, projections, and tools to assist in annual and quarterly budget processes. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in retail banking or a related environment. Required Knowledge: Expertise in financial/accounting practices with a focus on retail banking operations. Strong technical skills in financial systems (SAP, ERP systems) and proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables). Skills and Abilities: Ability to import, format, and analyze large datasets from various sources. Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills. Strong communication skills to present analyses effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for efficiency and accuracy. Experience working collaboratively across departments to meet business goals. Permanent residency in California or Nevada is a condition of employment for this position.
