      Overview

      Financial Analyst is a rapidly growing, industry leader, providing professional services support to both the government and the private sector. Our core competencies include engineering, logistics, IT, and mission critical support services. We provide solutions to a broad range of customers including the DoD, DHS, IRS, FAA, and the Intelligence Community, Accounting of costs for V2X. This is a key role in helping the company maintain strong cash flows. The role is for someone who has a strong understanding of GAAP and good research skills. This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the company.


      Responsibilities

      • Responsible for monthly project Forecast development and updates.
      • Responsible for review of monthly financial Statements and Rev Recognition.
      • Develop Project EACs.
      • Develop Annual Operating plans for projects.
      • Interface with Vectrus Systems Corporation Headquarters for timely questions on charges through the intercompany accounts or posted by HQ.
      • Ensures compliance with Cost Accounting Standards. Ensures compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
      • Responsible for monthly forecasting and reporting based on data from cost accounting systems.
      • Support VAT Tax filings .
      • Statutory Tax Filings and supporting schedule development.
      • Responsible to provide support, provide accurate back up and run reports for internal and external auditors.
      • Assist the Finance Director in projects as needed.
      • Performs additional duties as required.1. Responsible for monthly project Forecast development and updates.

      • Performs additional duties as required.

      Qualifications

      • Education/Certifications:
      • · One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. BS/BA Degree or equivalent related experience.
      • Experience:
      • Three to Five years of accounting related experience. General knowledge of US GAAP.
      • Other Requirements:
      • Knowledge of cost accounting principles.
      • Advanced experience with Excel (pivot tables, named ranges, charts, graphs, conditional formatting, etc.) required.
      • Skills and Technology Used:
      • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams highly desired.
      • Experience planning and tracking budgets.
      • Experience forecasting and analyzing data using advanced computations skills.
      • Experience providing financial or resource reports by researching and utilizing data sources to identify needs.
      • Experience assisting with long-term business plans based on financial health and trend analysis.
      • Experience assisting with financial or resource assessments while executing solutions to current and future financial or resource issues.
      • Experience with IFS and UltiPro software desired
