What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Finance Manager with contract budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare required reports and review financial results for accuracy and clarity
- Develop annual operating budgets for grants and contracts, and prepare monthly forecasts
- Submit monthly billings to funding agencies and prepare necessary journal entries
- Serve as the point of contact for program fiscal monitoring and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; or an Associate Degree with two years of experience; or a High School Diploma with six years of relevant experience
- Three to five years of related experience in a similar role
- Strong financial management skills, including budget monitoring and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly MS Excel
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

- Knowledge of the government contracting process
- Strong emotional intelligence and business acumen
- Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure
