      Your day at NTT DATA
      The Accounting Support Administrator is a developing administrative role, responsible for assisting with all general accounting functions, but not limited to general accounts payable and receivable functions.

      Under general supervision, this role provides support that enables the processing of company accounts and any other administrative tasks that may be required.

      Key responsibilities:
      • Works under supervision and prepares and processes month-end journal entries and all relevant financial reports.
      • Assists with capturing and generating generates purchase orders and managing the related invoices and collections.
      • Assists with the administration of the accounts receivable function, opening of new accounts with master data, collecting cash and resolving queries.
      • Assists the accounts payable function by dealing with shared services department.
      • Allocates cash in the financial system and assists with the reconciliation of client remittances.
      • Deals with vendor queries related to accounts, ensuring that progress and solutions are communicated.
      • Maintains and updates the status of accounts receivables and payables.
      • Assists accountants by preparing all administrative financial data and reports.
      • Assists with any other accounting support activities as and when required.

      • Basic knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
      • Good verbal and written communication skills.
      • Displays good mathematical skills.
      • Demonstrate high ethics and adherence to company values.
      • Basic ability to interpret processes, policies, financial and legal documents.

      Academic qualifications and certifications:
      • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
      • Completion of (or working towards completion of) a relevant Financial or Accounting qualification or related field.

      Required experience:
      • Some work experience gained within a similar role.
      • Some work experience or aptitude to execute work within a financial environment.
