      Job Summary

      We're hiring a Financial Center Manager in Lexington, KY to be responsible for the overall management and efficient operation of their assigned Financial Center through meeting and/or exceeding branch profitability goals and providing leadership and training to staff. Cultivating a strong sales environment will be expected.

      Individuals occupying this position will be assigned annual profitability goals, which will be based on the assigned Financial Center’s past performance; loan production goals, which will be based on experience and the growth of the assigned Financial Center’s loan portfolio; and, deposit production goals, which will be based on growth of the core deposit customer base. Performance expectation is to meet or exceed those established goals.

      Scheduling & Travel

      • Must be able to work on a flexible schedule that at times may include early or late and regular weekend hours.
      • Must be available on Saturdays. Work on every Saturday is not required.
      • Certain positions in the Financial Services Sector (including Forcht Bank) are considered critical and/or essential to the infrastructure. Individuals occupying these positions, must be able to report to work as directed in the event of inclement weather, declared states of emergency, and/or pandemic conditions, under the discretion of Forcht Bank leadership.
      • Must be able to attend new hire training and orientation in Lexington, KY or Somerset, KY Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for a one-to-two-week period.
      • Ability to travel to other locations as needed.

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities

      To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

      • Provide exceptional leadership and coaching to direct reports.
      • Meet and exceed profitability, loan production, and deposit production goals.
      • Develop and maintain customer relationships by calling on prospective customers, identifying prospects, establishing suitable methods of contact, and determining appropriate products and/or services.
      • Conduct sales calls in order to generate new sales opportunities.
      • Assist customers with questions, concerns, and explanations or demonstrations of bank products or services offered.
      • Originate and close loans for certain products to include retail consumer and mortgage lending and small business lending.
      • Refer opportunities to ancillary lines of business.
      • Originate all types of consumer and business deposit accounts to include checking accounts, money market accounts, savings accounts, IRAs, CDs and safe deposit boxes.
      • Assist customers with financial transactions.
        • Cash checks within proper authorization levels and pay out money after verifying that signatures are correct, that written and numerical amounts agree, and that accounts have sufficient funds.
        • Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of deposit slips.
        • Record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
        • Place holds on accounts.
      • Participate in community and civic organizations.
      • Maintain and balance the vault and ATM.
      • Provide VIP service to all customers and staff.
      • Complete required paperwork, reports and forms.
      • Demonstrate the features of the Interactive Teller Machines to new and existing customers.
      • Perform general duties associated with running a Financial Center to include opening and closing the center; processing the night drop, and answering telephone calls.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Supervisory Responsibilities

      This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with bank guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable state and federal laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing and making hiring recommendations; employee coaching, training and appraising performance; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding performance or recommending disciplinary action as appropriate; and, addressing complaints and resolving problems that may arise. This position provides directional oversight to the following positions:

      • Knowledge of arithmetic and their applications specific to the position.

      Required Education and Experience

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or the Work experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
      • Four (4) years’ experience in customer service, cash handling, and/or sales.
      • Two (2) years’ experience managing the work of other

      • May be required to attend activities outside the bank to stay abreast of new developments, best practices, civic activities, and statutory and regulatory changes.
