      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for inpatient and outpatient accounts, ensuring accurate documentation
      - Communicate with healthcare providers regarding authorization status and out-of-network issues
      - Calculate and collect patient liability prior to service, maintaining clear communication with patients
      - Submit authorizations for lab, diagnostic, and hospital ambulatory services as required
      - Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and document all outcomes in the registration system

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
      - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital, health plan, or physician office environment
      - Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and business office procedures
      - Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
      - Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with CPT and ICD-10 coding
      - Familiarity with insurance verification processes and self-pay estimates
      - Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
