      We are looking for:

      For our Financial Controller LeasePlan Bank vacancy we are looking for a new colleague at our Amsterdam based office. As a Financial Controller your main responsibility is to assist in the proper and timely (internal and external) financial and business reporting. Next to that, this person assists in providing company-wide analysis and assists in the annual planning process.

      Financial Reporting:

      • Assist in financial reporting and analysis for relevancy, reliability, timely and efficiently in order to support correct decision making;
      • Manages the day-to-day efficient and adequate transfer of savings money with LeasePlan Treasury (LPTY);
      • Daily reconciliation of transactions & accounts;
      • Cooperate with SSC / Holding control for monthly closing;
      • Budgeting for all the departments: annual plan, tracking actuals vs budget, cost controlling;
      • Ability to work with a large amount of data, identify trends & anomalies, summarize information that can be presented in the adequate manner.

      Internal Reporting & Projects:

      • Assist Customer Service department with finance-related inquiries;
      • Assist in preparing key business and financial (management) information. This applies to periodic, as well as ad hoc requests;
      • Handling procurement processes between LPB suppliers and departments;
      • Tracking pricing (interest) developments of the market and competition;
      • Assist in monitoring and reporting of companywide KPI’s (dash boarding);
      • Cooperation with other LPB department on projects; analysis and modelling.

      Risk Management:

      • First line responsible for operational risk management:
        • Incidents registration;
        • Business continuity.

      To succeed in this role, you have the following skills and experience:

      The ideal candidate is able to deal with confidential information, is reliable and has a high level of integrity.

      • An academic bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance or economics;
      • Approx. 2-4 years relevant work experience in a financial or relevant field;
      • Background in financial industry is preferred;
      • Advance Excel skills, advanced in PowerPoint;
      • Preferred experience with BI software & SAP;
      • Proven analytical ability, analytical mind-set, problem-solving skills and a high level of initiative and critical thinking;
      • Can-do mentality; taking ownership, proactive, flexible and able to work in a group settlement as well as work independently;
      • Good communication skills in both Dutch and English (both oral and written).
