Job Description

Supervision of daily accounting operations by managing general bookkeeping, creditors, debtors and bank accounts
Responsible for all local tax, statutory and local reporting requirements and issues
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with local tax legislations, US GAAP and IFRS (Turkish Commercial Code)
Ensuring all statutory reporting requirements are met on time with accuracy
Proactively and accurately manage and control all financial accounts
Management of tax procedures (tax planning, communication with tax authorities, control of VAT and all other tax declarations)
Ensuring compliance to Group Standards and Policies for group financial reporting / management reporting
Ensuring compliance to SOX requirements and managing the communication with the internal and external auditors
University degree of related fields from a reputable university (Business Administration, Finance, Economics)
Good knowledge of local GAAP
Minimum 6 year experience at accounting, Tax Audit Firm is a plus
High proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP system
Good knowledge of payroll, insurance and corporate tax
Certified Public Account Degree is a must
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Advanced knowledge of Turkish Tax Legislation and interest in IFRS
Analytical thinking, proactive and willingness to take initiative
Team management and collaboration skills,
Ability to work with deadlines and managing operational items
