      The opportunity:

      A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Crime, Health & Safety Governance Officer to join the Financial Crime, Health & Safety Operations & Governance team, that sits in UK Operations.

      We are looking for a self-motivated individual with interests in governance, financial crime and health & safety, good core analytical skills, and an organised approach who can work collaboratively as part of a team. We are focussed on finding an individual who has the right personal qualities and a willingness to learn. The role will include oversight of the UK financial crime and health & safety control frameworks and associated Management Information (MI) reporting, as well as developing knowledge of all financial crime risks facing the UK business.

      The role provides the individual with a unique opportunity to understand the important operational parts of the UK’s approach to both effective management of health & safety and preventing the risk of financial crime from crystalising. Because we have a pan-UK remit, it also offers a great exposure to, and understanding of, the breadth of the UK business.

      This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time. Please talk to us at the interview about the flexibility you may need.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Production of financial crime and health & safety team MI and associated trend analysis
      • Oversight of financial crime and health & safety controls framework and governance of related action plans
      • Contribute towards key reporting for senior stakeholders
      • Support a variety of compliance assurance and operational activities to demonstrate adherence to Group and UK policies and requirements
      • Develop knowledge of key software and tools at the disposal of the team
      • Conduct financial crime regulatory reporting
      • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the UK business and Group
      • Support continuous improvement and relevant projects deployed
      • Any other duties as assigned

      Your skills and experience:

      • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
      • Meeting support skills – meeting coordination and minute taking
      • Demonstrable experience in working autonomously and as part of a team
      • An agile and curious mindset
      • Strong relationship-building skills
      • Comfortable dealing directly with and challenging at different levels within the organisation
      • Previous experience in governance and oversight role is desired but not essential
      • Previous knowledge of controls/risk framework is desired but not essential
