What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct reviews of alert assessments, case investigations, and EDD reviews to ensure proper analysis
- Report and track quality control results, determining necessary follow-up actions
- Draft quality control scorecards to summarize findings for management
- Provide feedback to AML operations staff and management on QC results
- Analyze and communicate enhancements to address identified risks or gaps in processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-5 years of industry-related experience
- Knowledge of BSA/AML rules, laws, and regulations, including the USA PATRIOT Act
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and sound analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field
- CAMS certification
- Working knowledge of a bank operating environment and applicable systems
- Ability to build relationships and be a self-starter
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
