      Overview

      A St. Louis-based, single-family office, the Taylor Family Office (TFO), seeks a Financial Planning Advisor to join our team. The Taylor Family Office supports the Taylor/Kindle Family, owners of Enterprise Mobility. The principal responsibilities of this position are to support the family’s overall financial planning and implementation including investment monitoring, cash flow planning, financial reporting and other wealth planning strategies. In addition, this position will work closely with the office’s financial professionals to ensure cohesive communication and strategy implementation, all while contributing to a positive team dynamic. We seek an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, a complex problem-solver, and has an analytical mindset.       Responsibilities

      Financial Planning & Reporting

      • Conduct analysis of financial situations, including tax implications, investment strategies, estate planning & cash flow planning.
      • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for individual family members, business entities, foundations, and the family office.
      • Prepare quarterly summary of charitable giving by family members and foundations

      Cash Flow Planning and Management

      • Create monthly cash flow forecasting reports for all designated entities.
      • Maintain adequate cash levels for all accounts as directed.
      • Securely process money movement requests by check, ACH or wire.

      Investment Management

      • Monitor the performance of fund administrators and other vendors, ensuring adherence to Investment Policy Statement.
      • Prepare quarterly and annual reports including aggregated overview of assets, providers, fees, concentrations, risk exposure, etc.
      • Work with Accounting Operations Specialist to ensure data integrity of Investment Management System.

      Qualifications

      Minimum:

      • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in investment management, financial planning, or similar wealth management field of study
      • 5+ years of financial planning experience preferably in a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), Multi-family office or Wealth Management Firm
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
      • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in an understandable manner
      • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

      Preferred:

      • Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
      • Experience in a family office, RIA or small business setting
