Job Description

- Provide financial and technical support in planning/forecasting and financial performance management processes to the FP&A team mainly, but not limited to the area of OPEX and Other COGS
- Prepare monthly financial reports & summaries including clear variance analysis vs. previous plans and prior year (OPEX, Other COGS, Volume, and others as needed)
- Support transactional processes for the budget owners such as accruals, reclassifications, allocations, etc…
- Build, collaborate, and maintain strong business relationships within the Finance departments and cross-functional
- Checking the accuracy of accounting entries and liaising with the Accounting team to correct as needed
- Support the FP&A team to ensure that a robust process is in place to provide quality reporting within the required timelines for OL (Outlook)/SRC/ASP (Annual Strategic Plan) in the area of responsibility
- Analyze and explain all variances vs. previous plans and prior year/previous ASP to budget owners and top management
- Support FP&A Lead and Finance Director with ad hoc tasks
- Support process improvements, and analyze their impact on the FP&A team activities in close collaboration with colleagues within the team and cross-functional
- Propose process improvement in the area of responsibility
- Drive process improvement in line with corporate and local business controlling requirements
- Develop and update system tools and reports, run monthly pricing conditions set up check-in SAP
- Perform finance-related JSOX control procedures
- Ensure compliance with JTI OG for both OPEX/Other COGS costs and support the business with BAP/MEMO preparations.
- University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- Financial qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, etc.) is an advantage
- Preferably financial analysis, controlling, or accounting experience (1-2 years) in a multinational company (FMCG would serve as an advantage).
- Fluent English plus Dutch would be a plus
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, SAP, or similar ERP system experience
- Power BI is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal communication, proactiveness, focus on details, and willingness to learn
