      Financial Planning & Analysis Summer Intern

      Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) plays an important role in delivering economic insights and decision making support to the senior leadership of the organization which helps to drive the financial performance of the firm.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Prepare monthly financial dashboards for senior management reflecting actual results, and comparisons to forecasts / budgets
      • Develop financial analysis, which is value-added to decision making and assessing business performance
      • Manage and manipulate multiple large data sources and harmonize business information across various departments within the organization to drive actionable analyses
      • Analyze cost allocations and product expansion economics
      • Partner with Trading businesses (Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities and Statistical Arbitrage) and Core Infrastructure platform on strategic projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis
      • Participate in team-wide projects with the autonomy to innovate and develop new ways to analyze the business
      • Work closely with broader Finance organization, Risk, Corporate Strategy and HR on firm wide initiatives

      Qualifications

      • Rising seniors who are interested in a future career at a top-tier alternative asset financial services firm
      • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field
      • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above required
      • Advanced quantitative and problem solving skills
      • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (Pivot tables, macros); Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, and/or experience with data query languages a plus
      • Ability to communicate effectively, including presenting ideas both in written presentations and to small groups
      • Highest standard of accuracy and attention to detail
      • Organized and able to navigate a fast changing environment

      The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role.
