      We are looking for an outstanding team player with incredible organizational skills that match, to join us and provide support with external reporting and financial statement preparation.

      *This role does not offer relocation assistance.

      What you will do:

      • Assist with the coordination, preparation, analysis and reporting of the annual and interim external management’s discussion and analysis and financial statements provided to senior management and Board of Directors, securities regulators, securities analysts and investors.

      • Prepare annual financial statements and disclosures for Enbridge’s registered pension and OPEB plans, including planning and coordination with internal and external partners.

      • Prepare financial statement disclosures for Enbridge Inc. and its subsidiaries and investments. This includes maintaining a strong solid understanding of US GAAP and SEC requirements surrounding accounting issues and their disclosure, as well as strong relationships with other department/business unit staff who perform the accounting and/or manage related assets and with external parties who prepare information used in our disclosure.

      • Provide support with external reporting requests and special projects from other corporate functions such as Investor Relations, Business Development, Budgets and Treasury.

      • Communicate and maintain strong and constructive relationships with accounting team members at other Company locations, as well as with external audit staff.

      • Assist with advising Corporate Accounting and subsidiaries on the financial statement implications and disclosure requirements related to major accounting transactions.

      • Participate in and be involved with continuous operational improvement initiatives.

      • Involved in the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for Financial Reporting ensuring certain key controls over financial reporting are appropriately documented and supported.

      Who you are:

      You will have the following education & experience:

      • Designated Accountant with university degree and four or more years of relevant post qualification experience.

      • Working knowledge of US GAAP and of IFRS is an asset.

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; prior experience with financial accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP and/or HFM considered an asset.

      • Preference for those with prior experience in reporting and data analytic applications such as Workiva products and Power Bi.

      • Motivated to challenge status quo and embrace change.

      • Proven team player, with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships, while demonstrating a high level of cooperation and mutual respect.
