40 hours a week.
1 Day Remote option after 6 months probation is completed
Essential Position Responsibilities/Functions:
1. Administer a high level of customer service by assisting students with the timely completion of their FAFSA, federal, state and institutional applications.
2. Effectively communicate information to students, parents and other school personnel.
3. Counsel prospective and returning students and/or parents regarding financial aid.
4. Set up prospective student files/scans and collect/upload all necessary documentation to complete file.
5. Review all prospective students’ prior financial aid information on applicable financial aid websites and provide check list
6. Accurately input/upload financial aid information in applicable databases.
7. Follow up with students on any missing or inaccurate information.
8. Complete daily import of ISIR’s. Review issues with Advisors. Print/Upload ISIR’s to student accounts
9. Verify uploading of current and past files to share drive. Verify all documents are accounted for, report to FAM missing items
10. Complete verification step 1 process for all students selected for verification.
11. Assist financial aid Advisors in collecting/uploading information needed to clear students’ financial aid processing.
12. Staff FAFSA Lab and train staff.
13. Report to the Financial Services Manager any activity or incident which may not be in compliance with state, federal, or systems guidelines or regulations.
14. Act as backup to main receptionist desk.
15. All other duties assigned by the Financial Services Manager.
Hours may change based on the needs of students.
SALARY:
$38,000 - $40,000 ($18.26 - $19.23 per hour)
This position is eligible for overtime.
