What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the university's credit card program for procurement cards and travel & meal cards
- Utilize the issuing bank's secure system to create and maintain individual cardholder accounts
- Become a subject matter expert in systems used to process credit card transactions
- Monitor and troubleshoot daily transaction files received from the issuing bank
- Develop and deliver training for cardholders and shared services center staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with at least 3 years of accounting or financial experience
- Ability to work in a complex, high-demand environment with excellent customer service skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, OneNote, Visio, Box, SharePoint, Zoom, and Teams
- Experience in and commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, anti-racism, and wellbeing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented, team-based work environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- BS/BA in accounting, finance, or related field
- Understanding of Cornell policies and procedures in the areas of purchasing, business expense, accounting general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and travel
- Experience with Kuali Financial System (KFS), Oracle Analytics dashboard, Workday, PaymentWorks, Web eInvoicing, Spend Viz, Team Dynamix, Peoplesoft, and Concur Travel system
