What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor daily workflow to ensure stability, quality, and timeliness of transaction processing
- Approve and audit transactions generated by Account Representatives in various financial areas
- Provide financial management, analysis, reporting, planning, and budget support to applicable units
- Interpret and advise on university policies and procedures while assisting Account Representatives
- Build and maintain effective working relationships to deliver exceptional customer service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a complex, high-demand environment with multiple priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaborative computer applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with Cornell policies and procedures in finance and accounting
- Experience with Kuali Financial System (KFS), Oracle Analytics, and other financial transaction systems
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing practices
- Experience in a higher education environment
