      Custom – First Shift

      Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

      • The employee must be able to perform job duties for the position based on SOP audit performed by Quality
      • Perform quality check on all units and advise Manager / Supervisor and operator of needed changes
      • Fabricates doors and frames for vinyl extrusions using hand
      • Identifies and tags material with written symbol for assembly and inspection
      • Comprehends and completes fabrication on a sequence of operations
      • Fit and assemble components
      • Performs all general production work as required
      • Additional duties may be assigned.
      • The employee must be able to use an electronic scanning device with integrated program.
      • Employee must maintain a 90% scan accuracy compared to production output.
      • Employee is required to sit for Quality Knowledge and Skill examination.
      • Employee in this position will be required to achieve and maintain a score of 75% and higher.

      Qualifications and Skill Requirements

      • High School diploma/GED (minimum)
      • Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or production environment
      • Job requires constant lifting in excess of 50 pounds.
      • Employee must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period of time.
      • Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling.
      • Must have good communication and organizational skills.
      • Must have good math skills.
      • Be vigilant about safety
      • Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
