Job Description

- Perform rough and finishing carpentry tasks to set up temporary and safety structures.
- Measure and cut materials accurately to complete various tasks on-site.
- Construct boxes for trash cans, temporary sign boards, handrails, guard rails, and staircases.
- Erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand tools.
- Build frameworks and wood stairways, install cabinets, batt and roll insulation, doors, and hardware.
- Install toilet partitions and accessories, and perform trimming tasks as needed.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in construction.
- Strong experience in commercial and residential carpentry.
- Proficient in rough carpentry, framing, and using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction and repair of buildings.
- Formwork experience is a plus.
- Experience with commercial door hardware is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of duties required in their trade.
- Willingness and ability to learn.

Work Environment
The job is based on a large commercial jobsite in Lenoir, NC. Candidates must wear all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and an Aerotek T-shirt while on-site. The project requires working with a diverse team in a fast-paced and safety-conscious environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Lenoir, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
