- Perform diagnostic and repair services for various brands of fire alarm systems.
- Manage field level installations and oversee programming of fire alarm systems.
- Commission fire alarm installations and oversee tenant fit-outs.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to fire alarm team members.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Guide, train, and oversee the Fire Alarm Test & Inspect team.
- Complete wiring, connections, and equipment installations to ensure systems are operational according to contract requirements.
- Assist with installation, programming, and checkout of Simplex fire alarm and mass notification systems.
- Supervise the installation of conduit, wire, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with special systems.
- Act as a leader for field installation staff on project sites.
- Guide and support field installations related to drawings and field changes.
- Perform system start-up, programming, and testing of installed systems.
- Coordinate with project manager for timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Provide input for as-built drawings and project closeout.
- 5+ years of experience in the fire alarm industry installing field devices and cabling.
- NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems Level II or above.
- CFAT certification.
- Ability to manage large projects and multiple scopes.
- Proficiency in Simplex fire alarm and mass notification systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs.
- MA D License B, A (preferred).
- Certification: EST-3 and EST-4 (preferred).
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external customers.

This position is based on a large industrial project in Arizona. You will work in an environment that involves managing crews and project teams, providing leadership and guidance in field installations.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $38.00/hr.
