      IMMEDIATE HIRING! Fire Chief FULL-TIME Opportunity

      $115.000 .00 annual salary rate

      Rural/Metro Fire Department Fire is excited to announce a new operation in Elmore County, ID. The Mayfield Springs Fire Department will be a full service all risk fire department 12 minutes from Boise, ID. We are seeking a dynamic leader who will be involved in all aspects of starting this operation and become an integral part of the Mayfield Springs community (https://mayfield-springs.com/) and Rural Metro’s nationwide fire operations family. The ideal candidate is an experienced, well rounded fire service professional who is excited about training, personnel development and growing our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and have a strong knowledge of incident command, conflict resolution and professionalism. We are looking for an approachable, friendly candidate who will delegate tasks, roll up their sleeves and get involved when necessary.

      · Any combination of fire service experience equivalent to: A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or a related field and 10 years in the fire service with a recognized track of advancement with at least 5 years at the company officer level

      · Must be a high school graduate or possess a GED certificate and must successfully pass the background investigation and pre-employment drug screening

      · Valid driver license with acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy (Class B Highly Desirable)

      · NFPA 472, Hazardous Materials-Operations (State, PROBOARD or IFSAC)

      · NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800

      · National Registered Emergency Medical Technician (highly desirable)

      · Current CPR/AED certification · NFPA 1001 Firefighter I, II (State, ProBoard, IFSAC or equivalent)

      · Fire Inspector I, II (State, ProBoard, IFSAC or equivalent) (Highly Desirable)

      · Fire Marshal/Fire Prevention Officer experience (Highly Desirable)

      · Designated Chief Fire Officer or Successful completion of Executive Fire Officer (NFA) (Highly Desirable)

      · NFPA 1021 Fire Officer I Certification (State, ProBoard, IFSAC or equivalent (Highly Desirable)
