      Job Description:

      We are seeking a dedicated Fire Protection and Life Safety (FPLS) professional with 7-10 years of experience to lead performance-based design, code consulting, and quality control efforts. This company is a MEP engineering, technology and life safety firm that works across several markets. Projects include healthcare, higher education, industrial, K-12, historic renovation, hospitality, labs, municipal, master planning, residential, transportation, etc.

      The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm performance specifications, and hazardous materials analysis, along with the ability to work independently on multiple priorities. A degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required, PE licensure, and NICET certification is required. Proficiency in CAD and Revit is essential, along with excellent communication, time management, and client-facing skills.

      Responsibilities:

      • Conduct life safety consulting services
      • Perform hazardous materials analysis and industrial process evaluation
      • Assist in the commissioning and testing of fire protection systems
      • Exercise engineering judgments and develop code alternatives
      • Participate in peer reviews and provide design assistance for fire alarm and sprinkler systems
      • Engage in business development initiatives to expand fire protection and life safety services

      Qualifications:

      • Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
      • 7-10 years of experience in the fire protection field
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
      • Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and AutoSPRINK or similar design programs

      Additional Skills & Qualifications:

      • PE licensure in Fire Protection Engineering is highly preferred and willingness to pursue licensure in Colorado
      • NICET certification
      • Experience in a broad range of fire protection, with strong knowledge in sprinkler systems
      • Ability to work independently and flexibility to adapt to varying site visit schedules

      Work Environment:

      This position offer a remote schedule. This company is based in Denver and 3 other locations.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/hr.
