Job Description
- Req#: 25-3296
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must possess a current Arizona State or Nationally Registered Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic certificate.
- Must possess a current Candidate Physical Agility Test (CPAT) within the last year (March 7, 2024 – March 7, 2025), will be waived if you can show proof of current employment with a fire department.

Peoria's Fire-Medical department is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter Recruit. This position participates in fire drills and learns all aspects of fire suppression, prevention, and emergency medical support; responds to fire alarms with assigned firefighting personnel in a training capacity and assists in other firefighting activities as assigned including prevention, inspection, and equipment maintenance and repair.
