YOUR CHALLENGE

• Define the design specifications and plan the continuous development and life cycle of the Firewall, Partner-VPN and and the Intrusion Prevention Service (IPS) environment to ensure the long-term operational stability
• Create concepts and technical designs for new or changed customer requirements, as well as for the further development of Firewall, Partner-VPN and IPS solutions and services
• Develop and maintain support processes and tools for the global firewall infrastructure
• Configure and mainten the authorization rules for the access to security devices
• Expansion of automation of recurring firewall operating tasks
• Regular (technical) exchange with the main suppliers of the Firewall infrastructure
• Operation of the Firewall infrastructure, incl. the maintenance of its rule sets
• First and second level support for the Firewall, Partner-VPN and IPS infrastructure as well as for the authorization servers
• Ensure adequate know-how transfer to relevant stakeholders, e.g. by maintaining the service documentation and by carrying out presentations / learning sessions
• IT Service and Application owner for perimeter Firewall

YOUR PROFILE

• Successfully completed Apprenticeship in ICT environment or studies in (business) informatics, electrical engineering or communications technology or comparable professional experience
• Min. 4 years of professional experience in design (architecture), configuration and troubleshooting of large enterprise Firewall infrastructures (preferably with Fortinet products and solutions)
• Knowledge of networks in the area of routing, VLANs and multicast
• Project experience in an international environment
• Distinctive methodological skills in relation to the analysis and visualization of complex issues
• A strong team player, while customer and solution-oriented with an efficient and independent way of working
• Can work under pressure and extended time in order to achieve the common goal
• Very good German and English language skills
