Role: Firewall Network Security Specialist
Location: San Jose, CA – Onsite Job
Looking for a Firewall Network Security Specialist with hands-on expertise in enterprise firewall platforms, preferably with Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD) andor Palo Alto Networks.
The role requires strong familiarity with firewall policies, configuration management, traffic monitoring, and associated network security technologies.
Key RequirementsDeep technical knowledge of firewall platforms including Cisco FTD andor Palo Alto
Experience with managing security configurations, access policies, VPN, NAT, IPSIDS, and segmentation
Familiarity with security feature mapping to compliance or control objectives
Strong understanding of network protocols, threat detection, and incident response support
Ability to collaborate with compliance teams and translate security features into framework-aligned capabilities
