      Description:

      Will be working as a firewatch/shipyard laborer at Vigor Shipyard in Seattle, the work will be on the USS Barry. The project is set to start sometime in late February - March.

      The work will be a combination of Firewatch, setting up and cleaning work sites, moving materials and equipment around, heavy lifting, assisting welders, electricians, sheet metal mechanics and pipefitters, being an extra set of hands for those trades.

      The environment is industrial, you may work at heights, or in confined spaces, and in all weather conditions.

      The shift is 6am - 4pm Monday - Saturday, up to 60 hours/week.

      Helpful experience is hand and power tool experience, but really as long as you are mechanically inclined this position should be fairly straight forward. It is entry level though previous experience obviously helps.
