What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to the development of automated testing and continuous integration improvements for smart glasses firmware
- Collaborate with the Smartglasses Core Platform Firmware team to enhance firmware reliability and developer velocity
- Execute testing strategies and develop tests for embedded devices
- Debug embedded firmware code and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Assist in the development of dashboards to monitor firmware health projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-4 years of experience in firmware software engineering
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Deep understanding of testing strategies and test development for embedded devices
- Proficiency in debugging embedded firmware code
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in defining/executing a test strategy for a consumer embedded device
- Experience with CI tooling
- Familiarity with Jest end-to-end testing
