A growing aerospace company in Phoenix that serves commercial and military aerospace markets is looking to add a first article inspector to their team. This role will support production by performing all types of inspection, calibration and CMM operating on machined parts.

This is full time, direct hire position.

First Article Inspector Job Duties:

• Perform 1st inspection using CMM and inspection tools
• Set up gaging and perform 1st article inspection and WIP Inspections for CNC Machines
• Check, verify and record insults including SPC and other techniques
• Record and track data in Excel
• Read and comprehend GD&T
• Use precision measuring instruments

First Article Inspector Job Requirements:

• 3+ years in aerospace machine shop inspection
• Well versed in GD&T
• CMM Operating and program editing
  • CMM: Brown Sharpe and Zeiss are the machines used
  • CMM Software: PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso
• Highly competent at using measurement tools
• Advanced excel experience

Pay: $34-$38

Schedule: DAY SHIFT

• Mon-Fri 6:30am-3pm
  • Lots of overtime required, expect to stay until 5pm
  • Could be working 45-50 hours/week
