      The Fish Husbandry Animal Care Technician is responsible for performing operational, administrative, and technical tasks to ensure the comprehensive care of all laboratory animal species at the institution. This role also shares in the overall responsibility for the day-to-day functioning of the animal facilities.

      This full-time, entry-level position focuses on providing routine care for live vertebrates housed in the Zebrafish Facility and supporting animal husbandry activities at the Marine Science Center. Responsibilities may vary from hands-on animal care to administrative support. While the primary focus is on aquatic species, the technician will also receive cross-training in rodent care to support additional facility needs.
