A high school diploma, or its equivalent and 3-4 years of experience leading and coaching soccer

Must be at least 18 years of age

Successfully demonstrate skills, verbally provide clear and concise directions, and inspect soccer fields for participant safety

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information on children, family, and YMCA staff

Administrative skills including ability to maintain appropriate program documentation and statistical reporting
-
Maintain current certifications in CPR AED, First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention, New Employee Orientation and other department and/or Branch designated training, or the ability to obtain within 60-90 days of employment.

Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Sports Director, the Program Specialist II-Youth Basketball is primarily responsible for providing leadership and supervision with our Basketball Program while maintaining a safe non-competitive environment for the YMCA members and participants.
