  LEVEL 3: Bachelor¿s degree in exercise science or related field from an accredited university. Possess a current accredited advance level personal training certification from an accredited fitness organization from ACE, NSCA, or ASCM required. An accredited personal training specialization such as USAW Level 1 Coach and NSCA TSAC youth, senior, post-rehab, etc. recommended. These certifications must be kept current throughout employment. Must be certified in First Aid/AED/CPR from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Able to demonstrate knowledge of and skill to administer health screenings, fitness assessments, exercise prescriptions, progressive individual fitness plans and proper exercise techniques. Skill to work with patrons with risk factors and or who may have been referred to by a physician. Knowledge of established exercise physiology principles, concepts and techniques to plan and conduct fitness testing, interpret results and develop appropriate and effective fitness plans.
