- Assist senior team members in analyzing financial statements, interest rates, liquidity, and credit risk.
- Process monthly and quarterly analyses of clients' investment portfolios/balance sheets and various risk measurements using Excel-based and other complex financial models.
- Interact daily with senior team members and sales representatives.
- Interact with clients to obtain data necessary to prepare analyses.
- Manage special project demands of senior team members.
- Solid math and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new software programs.
- Strong work ethic.
- Must be able to understand and interpret financial data.
- Must also be able to communicate their findings to their clients clearly and concisely.
- Be able to think critically and make sound investment decisions.
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
- Minimum Required: 0-2 years related experience required
- Minimum Required: SIE, FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 or must be obtained within 6 months.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
The Fixed Income Analyst - ALM I supports the Fixed Income Strategies team by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to produce and develop Asset/Liability Management Analyses for fixed-income clients.
