Job Description

Manage daily trading within Trust Company portfolios
Perform bond trading, portfolio construction, research, and data analysis
Develop and improve Baird Trust relationships with trading counterparties/broker-dealers
Support Portfolio Managers, Trust Administration, and Advisors in managing client relationships and portfolios
Conduct credit analysis for various fixed income issuers and assist with “Buy Lists”
Consistently maintain proper internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, all applicable SEC, IRS, Federal and State laws and regulations
Maintain a complete knowledge of and comply with all company and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards

Four (4) year degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance
Masters of Finance or MBA preferred
Pursuing or achieved: CFA / CFP / CPA preferred.
2-3 years of financial services experience
Knowledge of fixed income markets, including US Treasury, municipal, corporate and government agency bonds preferred
FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Series 7 Required – or ability to obtain.
FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Series 63, 65, or 66 required – or ability to obtain.
