- Reviewing appraisals pursuant to internal underwriting and investor guidelines, and federal regulations.
- Reviewing condominium project information and master policies pursuant to internal underwriting and investor guidelines, and federal regulations.
- Reviewing and calculating income pursuant to internal underwriting and investor guidelines, and federal regulations.
- Reviewing title pursuant to internal underwriting and investor guidelines, and federal regulations.
- Achieve all assigned Performance Standards to include loan quality, productivity, turn times and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Focus: Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal customers and gains their trust and respect.
- Strictly adheres to all applicable internal NPI policies, procedures, and protects confidentiality of borrower information.
- Responsible for providing clear and accurate communication to fulfillment team members, management, sales, and customers (as needed) regarding file documentation and required conditions.
- Be well versed and knowledgeable of all FLASH workflow process and policies & procedures.
- Complete all work within established FLASH workflow processes and policies & procedures.
- Constantly learn and improve from established feedback loop routines to complete underwriting correctly and in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Additional education beyond high school or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years’ experience as a Task Specialist who has excelled in that job with first pass underwriting approval and other metrics.
- Familiarity with mortgage processing concepts.
- Excellent computer skills required.
- Encompass experience is a plus.
- Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule with the possibility of overtime and weekend rotations.

The Flash Component Associate II is responsible and accountable for evaluation, review and clearing of conditions in the underwriting process based on appropriate underwriting guidelines and procedures. You will be responsible for a pipeline of assigned tasks be that income review, appraisal/condo review or title review. You determine documentation needed and, if applicable, conditions for loans and clearly communicate directly with required parties to resolve conditions.
