What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate compliance with fleet acquisition policies and manage vehicle leases
- Coordinate relationships with vendors related to fleet and equipment
- Track and analyze fleet performance metrics using various software tools
- Monitor and analyze fleet expenses to drive cost and service improvements
- Support the implementation of new equipment and technology
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in procuring material handling equipment and fleet assets
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for in-person meetings and projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
- Experience with fleet management tools such as LYTX, Fuelman, Penske, Ryder, and Fleetio
- Deep understanding of warehouse operations and equipment
- Ability to explain complex issues in training settings
- Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations and experience with IFTA returns
