What You'll Do
- Develop standardization, best practices, and continuity for continuous improvement programs and positive relationships with stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage the company fleet and equipment budgets, monitoring expenses, and making improvement recommendations.
- Negotiate the purchase, lease, and rental of fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Handle fleet licensure, registration, and insurance.
- Arrange vehicle repairs, schedule maintenance and inspections, and manage fuel cost and usage.
- Implement and manage driver safety program.
- Identify driver training needs and conduct safety-related training.
- Assist with the investigation of vehicle accidents or incidents.
- Manage insurance claim process for fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Manage the company fleet Telematics system.
- Assist with compliance duties such as managing and reviewing motor vehicle reports.
- Manage and evaluate fleet utilization to decrease costs and improve efficiency.
- Maintain equipment program for increased efficiency.
What We Expect from You
- Trade School Certificate or equivalent education, with 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years' industry experience in fleet maintenance or operations and knowledge of transportation regulations.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to independently complete assigned tasks and actively manage workload.
- Strong analytical and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships.
- Experience with Microsoft Software Applications preferred.
- Highly driven and committed to team success and professional growth.
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
