If you really want to make a difference - make it with us The Fleet Data Management (FDM) Team within Siemens Energy SV is looking for data minded resources with power plant knowledge to validate and maintain unit operating & outage data and Serialized Parts Tracking data. Fleet operating & outage data, statistics derived from that data, and serialized parts tracking data are a foundational data sets leveraged by the organization for many reasons such as ensuring Siemens Energy is providing the right products and services to continuously improve the in-market availability of our customers’ assets. The FDM organization provides a link between Siemens Energy and its customers by collecting, validating, analyzing, and reporting out unit and fleet operating statistics. The High quality of our Data is an essential enabler to becoming a successful Data Driven Company. Your new role – challenging and future-oriented : You will be working closely with our teams in Berlin, Mülheim and Orlando to ensure the customer reported data in alignment with IEEE762 and Siemens Energy Service Models while ensuring the data is validated, coded and entered to the same global standard. This position is based in Gurgaon (India) and may involve working in morning or night shifts. Responsibilities: • Data entry, Data Administration, Data Processing in the Fleet Data Management. • Data reviewing & Validating data and responsible for data recording. • Collaboration with colleagues in Mülheim, Berlin and Orlando. • Coordinate cross-functional problems related to data acquisition and data processing including management of incoming requests via support mailbox/distribution list. • Contribution to work in morning or night shifts. • Good knowledge of Power Plant Operations. Required Knowledge/Skills and Experience: • Diploma or Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology/ Controls/ Electronic Engineering or a closely related subject • 3+ years of relevant experience • Ability and willingness to work non-standard shifts, including nights. • Being able to work in global team • Working knowledge of power plants-specifically gas & steam turbines and generators highly desired • Ability to interpret/validate power generation, customer-supplied, operating and outage data • Ability to review and maintain data • Familiarity with IEEE 762 desired • Familiarity with (data from) FDM or USI is a plus Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience • Knowledge of major components of power plants. • Solid experience with working in a global team • Good analytical and organizational skills (e.g. validating data from multiple sources) • Ability and willingness to learn, Demonstrates focus on quality and continuous improvement • High flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
