      This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

      Job Purpose and Impact

      The Fleet Coordinator will conduct moderately complex and varied fleet management activities for a small fleet of the transportation equipment and operators. In this role, you will conduct moderately complex fleet operations, data management, research and analysis, safety and compliance.

      Key Accountabilities

      • Coordinate fleet inspections on transportation equipment and report issues to supervisor.
      • Analyze transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure efficient and economical delivery.
      • Help with regulatory safety and compliance areas, such as driver and operator orientation, compliance reports, equipment maintenance and records and safety training.
      • Help coordinate inbound and outbound logistical operations.
      • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
      • Other duties as assigned

      Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT safety regulations
      • Experience with data analytics
      • Experience with Fleet Mangement Software
