- Complete state forms to support vehicle registration renewal, state transfer, re-title and other motor vehicle transactions to keep assets compliant
- Support title management to ensure security of assets and availability of documentation for vehicle sales
- Work with customers to complete pre-requirements such as emissions, weight slips and other inspections
- Mail out completed product as required by customer policies
- Gather fleet related requirements and submissions to regulatory agencies related to DOT, IRP, IFTA and UCR
- Ensure billing accuracy and timely processing of payment
- Update asset status and all relevant compliance details in Cox asset database in a timely manner
- Maintain, update and document regulatory processes and requirements
- Meet with vendors to ensure competitive lead times, quality, value and innovation
- Help support automations within Cox systems with vendors and customers
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 1 years’ experience; OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
- 2 years asset or client management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with peers, business partners, and leadership
- Ability to interact with internal and external business partners supporting corporate policy, standards, processes and procedures
- Proficient in understanding, analysis, and management of vehicle information to provide recommendations
- Ability to demonstrate a consultative approach to customer needs, run reports and interpretate data to draw conclusions
- Strong proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs; strong MS Excel proficiency required
- Self-motivated, able to manage expectations, prioritize work to meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast paced, high energy environment
- Strong customer service and organization skills required
- Works well in a team environment by supporting departmental initiatives and goals
- Provide excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks, manual dexterity
- Fleet, vehicle compliance or title and registration experience

Compensation
Hourly base pay rate is $17.74 - $26.59/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job Description
The Fleet Operations Support Specialist II will work with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure compliance with vehicle registration entities, department of transportation, and other regulatory agencies related to the use of vehicles. This position will also act as a liaison to help support driver compliance initiatives related to DOT and CDL requirements. The position will be supporting all divisions under the Cox umbrella as well as external customers and will require a consultative approach, excellent customer service and strong vendor management.
