  Job Duties Driver / operator of company vehicles, providing courteous and efficient delivery of packages and providing related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education High school diploma/GED. Minimum Experience None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this position. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Job Conditions Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned. Neat appearance since customer contact may be required. Drivers vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. $22.10/HR This position is a Casual Courier so you will not have a set schedule from week to week. You will choose when you want to work. Available shifts may be available Sunday through Saturday and are posted in an application accessible on your mobile device, home computer or a FedEx computer at the location where you will be working. Shifts are assigned on a first come first serve basis once they are posted. Shifts can vary between 2 and 8 hours a day, and you can work up to 24 hours a week based on the work available. You will be required to work at least 1 shift every 90 days to remain in this position. Available shift times usually vary between 8am-4pm Monday-Friday You will conduct deliveries with a FedEx owned or rented vehicle ranging in size from a minivan to a small commercial vehicle. These vehicles do not require a special operator’s license and you will receive training to safely operate them. No benefits are provided with these positions.
