      FLEXIBLE HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT - ALL 5 SITES

      Zero hours per week - As and When Required Working Arrangements Standard Working Arrangements are £23874.98 Whole Time Equivalent pro-rated. Derby Health Staffing aims to match suitably skilled workers with the staffing requirements of University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.

      We are looking for enthusiastic, caring individuals to join our bank, supporting our nurses in all aspects of Patient Care. You will have the opportunity of working in a variety of clinical areas across the Trust.

      TH IS VACANCY COVERS ALL 5 UHDB TRUST SITES:

      • Royal Derby Hospital
      • Florence Nightingale Community Hospital
      • Queens Hospital Burton
      • Samuel Johnson Hospital
      • Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital

      It is essential that you have a qualification in Care.

      Shortlisted applicants will undertake a literacy and numeracy assessment on . Please ensure you are available to attend, no alternative dates will be offered. You will be required to provide photographic ID, evidence of care qualification (NVQ/CQF), care certificate and completed work assessment book on 15th/16th July 2025. If you are unable to provide Photographic ID, evidence in the form of Care Qualification Certificate and completed assessment book for the Care certificate, unfortunately we will have to turn you away on the day of assessment

      Main duties of the job

      Successful candidates must be reliable, motivated and enthusiastic, be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and work within a multidisciplinary team. We are committed to the training and development of our workers; therefore, you will need to be able to attend training days required for your role.
