Join Southwest during an eight-week internship, lasting from June 11 to August 1, 2024 .
Work onsite Tuesday through Thursday at our Corporate Campus in Dallas, Texas , every week .
Dedicate 20-24 hours each week to your internship responsibilities and tasks .
Receive hourly pay of $15 .
Be provided with any required equipment, such as a laptop, for the internship .

Work across all Flight Safety Teams
Help create and distribute information from Flight Safety to Southwest Flight Crews, Flight Training, and Leadership
Collaborate with our Training Production Teams for Pilots, Instructors, Evaluators, Chief Pilots, LEAD Ops Scheduling, Simulation, and Destination 225°
Assist with media, graphic design, and/or instructional design and technical writing
Must currently reside in the Dallas, Texas area as Southwest does not provide housing or offer relocation for high school internships
Ar e at least 16 years old by June 11, 2024
Are c urrently enrolled in high school with a Sophomore, Junior, or senior status
Have t ransportation to/from Southwest Airlines offices noted in the job description above
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above
Classroom experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Prior work experience, extracurricular activities, and Leadership experience
Quick learner, self-motivated, organized, Team-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Time c ommitment : Part-time, 20 to 24 hours per week during normal business hours
Work location: You must reside in Dallas, T exas, during the internship and work onsite at our Corporate Campus
