      Position Summary

      BGI is seeking part-time Army Aviation Subject Matter Experts (SME) to assist with development of a proposal for the Flight School Next competition. Duties include syllabus analysis, evaluation of Part 141 requirements and objectives and formal military rotary training. Write portions of the proposal as assigned. Most work can be performed remotely, but one or two trips to Orlando, FL may be required. This is temporary work between 1 July and 31 October at 10-20 hours a week.

      Job Responsibilities

      -Evaluate proposal requirements and make recommendations

      -Evaluate Part 141 requirements and make training recommendations

      -Evaluate formal military rotary training requirements and make recommendations

      -Author assigned portions of proposal

      -Review proposal language and overall completeness

      -Able to travel to Orlando, FL for occasional Team meetings

      Required and/or Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, licenses, skills)

      -Minimum of 10 years of operational Army rotary experience as a pilot

      -Minimum of Warrant Officer experience in the US Army

      -Ability to effectively communicate and work with contractors/engineers on the project required

      -Instructor pilot experience highly desired

      -Recent flightline training experience highly desired
