  Note: This is a floater position requiring travel between the following New Jersey locations, based on the business need: Manalapan, Ocean, Princeton and may occasionally include Cherry Hill and Mount Laurel.

As a pharmacist at Wegmans, you will work closely with leadership and technicians to provide exceptional care and a one-of-a-kind pharmacy experience.

  What will I do?

  • Answer, assess and listen to customer questions, needs and concerns; show empathy in sensitive situations; strive to exceed expectations, provide alternative solutions to problems, and achieve the best possible outcome for customers
  • Provide counseling on prescriptions, relay pertinent information for success and confidence in at home use of medication
  • Perform all necessary steps of workflow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products
  • Maintain product levels, improve efficiencies, seek continuous improvement opportunities, identify barriers to achieve goals, and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Support and stay current on company wellness initiatives; ensure consistency and execution and share best practices
  • Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed
  • Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business

  Required Certifications:

  • Pharmacist State License-APhA-American Pharmacists Association
  • Certified Pharmacist Immunizer-AphA-American Pharmacists Association

  Required Education:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
